ATELIER ANU was a natural progression combining Anupama Nagaraj's favorite things: travel, entertaining, making , interior design, cultural anthropology and issues of identity and belonging.

Born in England to Indian parents, Anu was exposed to a wide range of cultures from an early age. A curiosity about otherness soon developed, and traveling became a necessity. Growing up as an only-child, Anu often retreated into her imagination to entertain herself. Overtime these reveries became indistinguishable from real-life. And this is the place that interests her;  that  indistinguishable place where memory becomes a jumping point for fantasy. It's where you get to make reality better.

Inspired by fading memories and the vivid color palettes and rich textiles from her travels, ANU channels daydreams into products for the home.
